Evacuees for the day!
.
On Wednesday we went to a trip about an evacuee experience from Sheringham to Holt on a train I went with Cameron and Kyle .We met ARP wardens what told us what to do. We were meant to get off at Weybourne but it got bombed badly so we had no choice but to get off at Holt .They did not know what to do with us so we had to stay there with them .We got bombed too! My group was called Spitfires what was obviously named after the plane Spitfire . Our group first went to the dig for victory lesson and then we made our sandwiches . Mine had meat, mixed vinegar with brown sauce and vegetables chutney and cheese. After that we put a gas mask on and also learned about Incendary bombs . Later on we had to look round a cottage and clean it up.Then finally we had our lunch it was really really nice . Then we went home on a minibus .

On Wednesday we went on the coach to Sheringham and it took a hour and a half to get there. When we got there I got on a steam train with ARP wardens and we were supposed to get of at Weyborne but a bomb got dropped there. So we had to get off at Holt. When we got there a man and a lady took me to a building where I had to line up. Suddenly a ear piercing air raid siren came off I had to come in side the building and get down low. Suddenly I heard planes flying past getting closer and closer to me. Just then a bomb as loud as thunder came down luckily I survived .Then I did a job in a cottage for a lady and I washed up for her. Then I had to help in the garden . I did planting peas. Then I made my sandwich with rations.
